Thomas Lynch is a Communciations Assistant at the New York Center of the EastWest Institute.

Thomas grew up in Charlottesville, Va., and obtained  his Bachelor's Degree in International Relations from the University of Virginia in 2010. He has worked at the U.S. House of Representatives and with Fianna Fáil party headquarters in Dublin. He has also worked both as graphics editor and as a cartoonist for The Cavalier Daily, UVA's prestigious student-owned and -operated daily paper. In addition to his native English, Thomas is proficient in German.

Thomas first served as a research assistant in the Executive Office, where he was responsible for researching issues, people and ideas for the Executive Office, including new media methodologies and technological innovation as means of increasing EWI’s exposure.

In his current position, Thomas maintains the institute's website and new media applications, develops content and design for publications, provides event support, and assists the communications team on administrative and logistical issues.
