I marvel at how the EastWest Institute is able to make a difference, consistently. EWI acts as a tugboat frequently called upon by governments and powerful institutions to facilitate communications, mobilize resources and help find solutions. When I finished my presidency, there were many offers for me to work on many good causes. I chose to make my primary affiliation EWI.
