Ryan Kreider is EWI's Director of Financial Management and Administration. Previously, he was EWI's Deputy Director of Finance and Administration and served as the Institute's North American Representative of the Kendall-Russell Center for Corporate Competitiveness in Russia (KRCCC). Before joining KRCCC, he served as the Executive Assistant to the EastWest Institute's President and CEO.

From 1998-2001, Ryan worked as a Project Associate for the Media Viability Fund (MVF) in Moscow. MVF was co-founded by the Media Development Loan Fund and the Eurasia Foundation to support the development of independent newspaper, radio and television companies in Russia and Ukraine through low-interest loans and technical assistance. Prior to MVF, Ryan worked in different regions throughout Russia from 1995-1997 as an editor, translator and language instructor. He has worked both in the corporate and NGO sectors, and holds a degree in History.
