David J. Firestein, EWI's Director of Track 2 Diplomacy, leads EWI’s Russia, China and United States programs.

A career U.S. diplomat fluent in Russian and Chinese, David has published and lectured widely on Russia, China and public diplomacy, and has taught at the University of Texas and the Moscow State Institute of International Relations.
