United States

In 2009, EWI formally launched its U.S. Global Engagement program. Although EWI has long focused on U.S. policies and engagement, this is the institute’s first program uniquely dedicated to better understanding U.S. priorities, foreign policy debates, and engaging policymakers. In 2010, EWI opened an office in Washington DC to help manage outreach to the administration and on the Hill. As a result, EWI is carving out a new niche of policy analysis that informs much of our broader work.
